packaging and collateral

I've been playing around with the design for my business cards, labels, thank you cards, packaging, etc. and so far I'm happy with the look... I could keep working on it forever, but have to stop and move on to other things.

my photo studio

I wasn't happy with the look of my scanned sentimentals, for some reason the quality of the lines doesn't show. The photographed versions look much better... bummer I'll have to get them reprinted.

sweet orbit

So tired of editing patterns, almost finished. Have to get it done before I run out of orbit, literally... and figuratively.

sentimental No.1

After much sketching and trying out different options, I decided on this look for the new series. The very first one is titled "brainstorm", many more to come...

new series

The beginnings of my "sentimental" series  - with more lines in the designs. Still in the works, hope to list very soon.

patterns

I'm very much into patterns and lines and backgrounds... and more lines. I like them so much that I've decided to take the patterned backgrounds from my 3d illustrations and have them printed on fabric. I love to sew and haven't had the time to pedal away lately, so this will give me a chance to do that. A little variety in the projects is always good, and new ideas for fabric thingys are buzzing about in my head.
I'm excited to have received my first fabric swatch from Spoonflower- a fabric printing company out of Durham, NC - they're great!

guardian angel

Sweet little angel gave it a brave fight and he's now resting in peace watching over his mommy. I'm giving this illustration to a friend, hope she likes it :)  it's almost finished, just need to assemble it... decided not to use the clouds and gave him a booty cover-upper and a little cape instead.  For now here's the work in progress.

labor day

Happy labor day!
My place of labor- the formal dining room in my house converted into a studio.

studio

Just a peak at my workspace while working on some three dimensional illustrations.
At the moment I'm working on editing my portfolio and uploading to the page and to flickr, so it should all be up soon.
